    Thank you and have fun!

    Volunteers Needed

The Lindsay Kids of Steel is always recruiting! We could use volunteers to help organize the race or assist on the course. It's a great way to actively participate while you cheer on your son/daughter/niece/nephew/brother/sister, etc. It's also a great way to pick up some Community Involvement Hours for High School students (it also looks really good on resumes!)

Volunteers help make it possible for the athletes to compete in a fun, safe, and organized way. We believe that those of you who give your time and energy to help support these races should be treated well. We work hard to make sure that you receive the resources necessary to be a successful volunteer, that you’re safe and as comfortable as possible. We want you to have a great time outside with the racers and us.

So, why volunteer when you can just watch? Because you’ll receive the adulation of the racers, a LKOS T shirt, and be fed at the after-race party, but most of all, you’ll be an integral part of the event. Some volunteer because they’re interested in triathlon racing and want to check it out up close; some are racers who need a down day; some are friends or family of racers who want to be a part of the festivities and share in the fun.

If you are a student and those rewards are not enough to motivate you, all student volunteers will receive Community Service Volunteer hours credit!

Sign up now and join us in June 2013 at the Lindsay Recreation Complex, for yet another exciting Kids of Steel event. Be part of the action and connect with the other volunteers to cheer the kids on. Send us an email and we will get in touch with you regarding your schedule and duties.

We look forward to having you on board!

If you can assist or know anyone else who may be willing, send an email to info@lindsaykidsofsteel.com.
